2002-2003: IDEO San Francisco. Created the first ideas for the Aquasoft brand identity and new packaging concepts for Clearlab for
1-800-Contacts of Salt Lake City, USA. Worked as the technical lead in the IDEO team.
2002: IDEO Palo Alto. Managed and led a team (Human Factors researcher, 2 Industrial Designers (Chris Loew and Anthony Piazza), Mechanical
Engineer, Prototyper, Manufacturing Engineer) in ergonomic research, usability research, technical layout, and industrial design in defining
(with the LeMond team) the G-Force RT recumbent stationary trainer for LeMond Fitness, Inc.
2001-2002: IDEO (Palo Alto and Grand Rapids). Managed and led a team that designed and built the Pathways Post+Beam contract furniture
system for Steelcase Inc. The team for this project was very large, since the project involved prototype builds in many places in the US,
contractors all over the world, a 20K square foot show prototype build at NeoCon 2002 and a complete build-out in a seismic Z-4 office setting,
as proof of concept.
