1999:  The tete-a-tete rocking chair for Thomas Oliphant Studios.  Pictures are of it being built in Tom's studio and at the my shop.  Tom had made several prototypes of this in the
past, but they were large and heavy.  He and I decided to interpret this as an  "outdoor-modern-lightweight" version in carbon fiber, titanium and teak.  It's really light, flexible and
breaks down into two identical pieces. He, I, his then-assistant, Noah Wilson and my painter, Mark Leonardson made this a reality.  Lots of design work, tricky fabrication problems
and difficult kinetic problems to resolve
.  It's been featured in design books and shows.
